Sandyport

The marina village of Sandyport is supremely walkable and has been designed with the historic architecture of the Bahamas in mind, resulting in a community that’s brimming over with warmth and charm. Extending across 144 acres on western Cable Beach, this gated, master-planned community is minutes away from downtown Nassau’s myriad attractions and it also has its own commercial core, Olde Towne.

Sandyport is slated to have a total of around 650 homes upon full completion, all of which are notable for having their own docks, with many having private beaches as well. These Colonial-inspired homes come in an array of pastel colours and feature large open floor plans of varying sizes.

Neighbourhoods here are connected by a network of navigable canals leading out to the ocean, making this a true marina village. Amenities include six tennis courts, seven swimming pools, and three children’s playgrounds. Olde Towne boasts an eclectic selection of restaurants as well as a gym, clinic, bank and post office, marina store and gas station, and the Tambearly School (Pre-K to 9th grade).

The village is also home to the Sandyport Beaches Resort & Hotel (an RCI affiliate), which features 72 villas as well as a lagoon beach, two ocean beaches, and a lagoon pool.
